2026 Transition Design Conference: Weaving Regenerative Futures
A fifth Transition Design conference will be held July 8–11, 2026, in Mexico City. The conference is designed for academics, researchers, and practitioners working in sustainability transitions and systems change, as well as those who are new to the field. Both in-person and online participation will be available.
The conference is co-organized by Tecnológico de Monterrey (TEC), Mexico; the University of Palermo (UP), Argentina; and the Transition Design Institute at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), USA. It will be hosted on TEC Monterrey’s Mexico City campus.
The conference website has launched and registration is open. The Call for Extended Abstracts for Posters and Papers is now open, with a submission deadline of February 1. Top conference papers will be included in a special edition of the academic journal Cuaderno, published by the University of Palermo, which welcomes submissions in either Spanish or English.
